www.NJDiscoveryDocs.com and Practical Police Training, L.L.C. believe in the "Professional Law Enforcement Officer" in the State of New Jersey.  Being a Law Enforcement Officer in New Jersey has never been harder than it is today.  Changes in the law, plea bargaining, budget cuts, higher case loads and all sorts of difficulties help make the job of protecting the public more and more difficult.

It is with these thoughts in mind that we present out WINTER 2010 SEMINAR SERIES to all Law Enforcement Personnel and Municipal Prosecutors.  At various locations throughout the State, it should be convenient for many to attend.  And for the Command Staff, these seminars, as well as over-time rates for those attending, may be fully reimbursed by the N.J. Drunk Driving Enforcement Fund (DDEF).

For LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL:  We are offering three (3) seminars at various locations and on various dates:  "DWI Report Writing in the 21st Century;" "Testifying in Municipal Court" and "A DWI Trial - From Start to Conviction." All three courses relate to the municipal court arena with an emphasis on DWI/DUI hearings.  How to write the report, how to testify and finally, how to handle yourself in the DWI Trial will all be explored.

For MUNICIPAL PROSECUTORS:  For the newly appointed and for the work horses with many appointments, we are offering "Municipal Prosecuting for Dummies." This is hoped to be a fun, lively discussion of the issues, laws, rules and relationships municipal prosecutors have on a daily basis. Techniques, philosophy and recommendations may help you start, or continue, your municipal prosecuting career.  Additionally, we are offering "A DWI Trial - From Start to Conviction." It is easier than you think.  Learn some evidence rules, some case law and some techniques to make sure you introduce the correct evidence and obtain the conviction as you seek justice!  You will receive N.J. State Municipal Prosecutor Association credits and PA and NJ CLE credits are pending!  You may also take the LAW ENFORCEMENT seminars to earn additional credits and to allow you to pass the word onto your own police departments.  You may also be able to be reimbursed through the DDEF for the cost - check with your Department's Command Staff!
